AJ Styles reached out to fans on Twitter asking them if they have any suggestions naming one of his moves. Styles has been using the springboard forearm for a very long time now but it looks like he’s finally going to give it an official name.

As you probably noticed, Styles mentioned that “The springboard forearm is finishing matches.” Styles has been using the Calf Crusher and it seems to be implied here that the springboard forearm will be replacing the Styles Clash as his other finisher. It’s worth noting that Styles defeated Kofi Kingston with the springboard forearm during their match on SmackDown this week.
There seems to be some uncertainty about whether or not AJ Styles will be using the Styles Clash or not going forward. It was reported earlier in the week via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon doesn’t want the move being performed regularly in a WWE ring. Styles later commented on the reports asking “Who said the styles clash was banned?”
