Prior to the UFC 190 event where Ronda Rousey destroyed Beth Correia in 34 seconds, UFC president Dana white had some choice words for wrestling fans. Dana White made the mistake of referring to wrestling as “fake” and he paid the price on social media.

You can follow the saga below:

Several wrestlers reacted to the comments. See what they had to say below:

Uh oh Dana, looks like you pissed off the wrong crowd.

  1. Why do people still hold that wrestling is not fake? Even the WWE describes what happens there as story-lines! It is a show: a highly demanding performance that requires physical condition, lots of ability and special training. It also poses a high risk of injury. Nonetheless, it is still fake in the sense that the punches, kicks and stomps are acted out, and that many of the moves require synchronization between both wrestlers (they even practice together before matches). During the fight there is some room for improv, and a wrestler must read the other while fighting, but everything is scripted. So it is fake.

  2. Wrestling is fake, it is scripted, accidents happen and things go to far, people end up hurt and dead because shit goes wrong. There is no reason to get your panties in a bunch, no one is saying that the Athletes aren’t real athletes just that the show sport of the WWE is phony.
