Daniel Bryan has just announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Bryan’s in ring status has been the source of a lot of controversy for a long time now but it appears that he’s finally hanging up the boots.
Bryan made the following announcement on Twitter:
Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude

Daniel Bryan has been out of the ring for the better part of a year now and it looks like he will now be out indefinitely. Bryan has been cleared by a reputable doctor who worked the Super Bowl and a reputable doctor at UCLA, but WWE’s doctors wouldn’t clear him.
There have been a lot of rumors and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding Bryan’s future. but it sounds like he’s going to put it all to rest tonight on Raw. One way or another, Daniel Bryan had one hell of a run in the WWE and it’s going to be sad to see it come to an end, officially.
