Shane and Stephanie kick off Monday Night Raw. Steph gives Shane a framed picture of him with Vince from when he was a kid. She tells him to announce his ideas for the night and Kevin Owens interrupts. Owens wants a shot at the IC Title but then Cesaro came out and said Owens screwed him at Payback. Shane makes a #1 contender’s match and he tells them it’s kicking off right now.

Miz is sitting on commentary and the action goes to the outside. Cesaro ends up hitting The Miz at ringside then he tried to hit the Cesaro Swing on Owens inside the ring. Miz hopped in and started beating Cesaro down. Sami Zayn ran out and Owens threw Miz into Zayn. Sami fought off Owens and The Miz. Zayn stood tall in the ring.

Sami grabbed the IC Title and hinted that he wants a shot. The crowd chanted “Yes!” as he held the belt.
Backstage Dean Ambrose tells Stephanie McMahon that he’s not fooled and he doesn’t trust her. Steph agrees to be on the Ambrose Asylum tonight and she tells him he can ask anything he wants. They smile at each other and she walks away. Dean makes a sour face.
Goldust confronts R-Truth and Tyler Breeze. Fandango arrives to back him up and Goldust tells Tyler Breeze he’ll see him in the ring.
In the locker room Styles talks to Anderson and Gallows when Roman Reign barges in. Roman challenges the trio to face off against him and The Usos in a 6 man tag match. Roman accepts the challenge.

Goldust gets distracted by R-Truth and Fandango on the outside and Tyler Breeze capitalizes with a roll up.

The New Day & Big Cass vs The Dudley Boyz & The Vaudevillains
The Dudley Boyz went for the 3D on Cass but Kofi Kingston made the save. Cass then followed up with East River Crossing on D-Von for the win.

Emma vs Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch tried to take control near the end of the match the referee pulled the two ladies apart. Emma poked Becky in the eye when the ref wasn’t looking and then followed up with the Michinoku Driver.

Stephanie McMahon canceled the Ambrose Asylum and announced that the Highlight Reel is returning. After Chris Jericho came out and smashed Dean Ambrose in the head with his potted plant.
Battle Royal To Determine The New Number 1 Contender For The US Title
It came down to Ryder and Rusev with the crowd fully behind Ryder. Zack hit Rusev with the Broski Boot and then went to throw him over the top but Rusev reversed it and he eliminated Zack instead. After the match Lana came out to celebrate and they stared down Kalisto who was at ringside.
Winner: Rusev
Charlotte cut a promo in the ring hyping up her win at Payback. Natalya came out and put Ric Flair in the Sharpshooter.
AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs Roman Reigns & The Usos
AJ Styles wins the match for his team after hitting one of The Usos with the Phenomenal Forearm.
Winners: AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
After the match everybody brawl and Roman Reigns powerbombed AJ Styles through the announce table.
