Nikki Bella has been out of action for several months now as she’s been recovering from neck surgery. It’s been a while since fans have seen her on TV and she was originally supposed to be a part of Raw last night, but her appearance was nixed.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet the appearance was nixed because Nikki’s doctors told her that taking any sort of bump, even an accidental one could set her recovery back big time. Original plans reportedly called for Nikki to set herself up for a non-wrestling role in the Team Total Divas vs Team Bad and Blonde match at WrestleMania 32.

Nikki is set to meet with doctors once again in July and she will receive a CAT scan that will determine whether or not the bone in her neck has fused. But she has been told that she will no longer be able to return to the ring full time because of her injury. According to sources Nikki Bella is hoping to make a big comeback on a part time basis, but she won’t find out if that’s possible for a few more months.

Pro Wrestling Sheet also reported last week that Brie Bella plans to retire following the Raw after WrestleMania 32. With Nikki Bella on the shelf and Brie Bella reportedly retiring next week, it looks like WWE could be Bella-less for the next few months or possibly even longer.
